Kris Lamoreaux
Kris Lamoreaux is the Owner of Healthy Pets Mountain West. Prior to opening the store, she wore many hats over her ten year tenure at the Humane Society of Utah, working at the clinic, outreach coordinator supervising over 12 employees and instrumental in getting forever homes for many pets. She appeared on KUTV and Fox News as well as 104.3 radio broadcasts and fundraisers at Harmons, Grizzlies, Bees and Jazz games.
She is a certified Pet Nutritionist completing many classes to educate herself and staff on the best food and supplements for many issues pets may have. She is an avid promoter of locally made products. Her dedication to support local rescue groups is shown by the annual event with raffle and silent auction with all proceeds given to local rescue groups: Save Our Local Pets, Utah Friends of Basset Hounds, Lorelie’s Legacy, CAWS, Arctic Rescue and Salt Lake County Animal Shelter. Healthy Pets Mountain West supports area groups by donating gift certificates and gift baskets for their fundraisers.
She is Mom to Jessie, Brady and also Dog Mom to Ursa who is ever present at the store, ready to greet customers and loves getting petted and, of course, then she gets a treat.
Linda Lamoreaux
Linda Lamoreaux retired after 20 years in the natural gas industry. Then retired 2 more times assisting 2 different medical device startup companies. And finally found her dream job, working with her daughter at Healthy Pets Mountain West.
Nikki Cooley

Nikki has been grooming many different types of dogs, cats and even a few bunnies for over 20 years. Nikki is very passionate about animals, she treats them with a great amount of respect. Cara has been a dog groomer for over 17 years and is very comfortable with all different styles and patterns. She has a passion for making pets look and feel great! At her pervious place of employment, she was a solon manager and stylist instructor, but she found that she was happiest giving all of her attention and energy into grooming clients instead.
